Comment: A Killing Question – ls there a moral dilemma for conservationists?
Chris Mead
Pages 349-354
What follows is a personal view on bird protection and the issues with respect to the many interests that it affects. It is not exhaustive, but it does set out to raise the sort of moral problems that make this a grey world where the right thing to do may not always be the right thing to do. It very much depends upon the values which one sees as being important but, ultimately, it has serious implications for us all as many of the principles involved are incorporated in the law.
